Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, visited India and shared powerful insights with the leaders of India Inc., touching on a topic that excites and challenges us all: Artificial Intelligence. Right now, many in India feel both thrilled and apprehensive about the potential of AI. Thrilled by its promise of growth and scale—and a little anxious about its impact on jobs.

One thing was clear from Jensen’s message: AI isn’t here to replace us. Instead, it’s a tool to empower us. When he spoke about AI making us superhuman, he wasn’t talking about turning us into supercomputers or removing the human element—he meant AI can help us go beyond our natural limits while keeping our humanity at the core.

Here are three key takeaways from Jensen that we, as Indians, should focus on as we embrace AI:

1. AI Will Not Replace Humans – There’s no substitute for human intuition, empathy, and creativity, which makes us uniquely adaptable and innovative.

2. AI as an Enabler – Think of AI as a powerful tool that enhances our capabilities, allowing us to work smarter and more efficiently, and

3. Bridge the Digital Divide – As AI advances, it’s essential to ensure it uplifts everyone, reaching all parts of our country and narrowing the digital divide.

Bridging the digital divide 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 is “The Message” that I hope has got drillied into the minds of the whose who of India Inc who I guess is still into chasing personal wealth and luxury.

And to all our young students and future leaders: before looking for shortcuts, remember that solid foundations in your basics—critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of your craft—will set you up to fully leverage AI’s potential. Let’s focus on mastering these fundamentals first, so that, when you’re ready, AI can amplify your skills and bring out the best in you for a greater, more inclusive India.
